PwC is one of the leading professional services networks in the world, with more than 12,700 partners and almost 328,000 staff in 152 countries.
We help organisations and individuals create the value they are looking for, by delivering quality in Advisory Assurance, Tax and services.
We are a hugely diverse business, but what binds everything we do is our purpose - to build trust in society and solve important problems. Our values define who we are, what we stand for, and how we behave and how we work with our clients.
Our market leading global restructuring and insolvency network consists of close to 200 partners and more than 2100 professionals based across 80 country locations worldwide. Our team has longevity in both the market and at PwC and this familiarity with each other enables us to deliver a seamless global solution at speed.
Our highly experienced global team provides advice to businesses of all sizes, from family enterprises to complex, global institutions and throughout the lifecycle of a business. But, the key focus of our global restructuring advisory and insolvency team is to provide services to lenders, creditors, borrowers, companies, sponsors, regulators and individuals in troubled financial situations to help them identify problems, gain stakeholder cooperation, develop sustainable solutions and implement them with ease and precision.
As situations require we are able to draw on the reservoir of technical and sector insight and expertise that exists across PwC which is increasingly important in a dynamic and increasingly complex global business environment. Facing the current economic headwinds our ESG, supply chain, global tax, working capital and refinancing experience is particularly sought after. We are also particularly experienced in complex stakeholder management and finding restructuring solutions among stakeholder groups with divergent interests across multiple territories.
The PwC global network allows us to rapidly deploy cross-border services to our clients wherever they are. But, notwithstanding our global reach we always have local expertise, with professionals on hand who will provide local specialised restructuring and insolvency services, but also bring intelligence, connectivity and awareness of local market dynamics, sectors and jurisdictional nuances.
Across our business we operate at pace, work together with empathy and passion in the most challenging times and seek to create value for our clients in all of our assignments. We adapt quickly to market changes and respond swiftly, considerately and creatively to the growing complexity of clients’ needs, including the deployment of large teams at speed if required.
We utilise the latest technology to make working together with us more effective and efficient, whether it’s virtually or face-to-face. Additionally, with our continued drive to innovate and our use of technology and digital solutions we are able to provide insights to our clients through the use of interactive data visualisations, dynamic project management tools and collaboration digital platforms. As such, we believe that it is not just what we do, but how we work with all stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes across all our restructuring markets that makes a difference and defines us.
At our core, we solve complex problems in times of stress and distress. Throughout the current pandemic and previous recessions we have and continue to be at the heart of aiding recovery, delivering sustainable solutions for business and the economy more widely. We place an emphasis on empowering our people with digital skills, championing diversity and inclusion to promote social equality and building an environmentally sustainable business. Addressing these important issues challenges us to innovate and solve problems creatively, which is central to our culture of delivering exceptional value for our clients and those stakeholders most at risk in restructuring scenarios.
We believe that it is not just what we do, but how we work with all stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes across all our restructuring markets that makes a difference and defines us.
